Building a Kickstarter Takes Time

I have a book I’m going to kickstart in July so I can self-publish it.
I just spent the past few hours updating details on the build-your-kickstarter page on their site. The basics, the story, the reward structure, the addons, the graphical elements, the video… it all takes time and effort. Plus for the actual book you have to wrangle editors, artists, a graphic designer, and (in this case) a sculptor, moldmaker, and costume designer.

It’s a big up-front investment.
But I’m very enthusiastic about this project. Stay tuned! :)
