Dark Dungeons: The Movie

Short answer: I got to see Dark Dungeons: The Movie, and it is a spot-on adaptation of the infamous anti-D&D Jack Chick comic. Yet somehow it also has many nods to fans of fantasy, SF, and roleplaying games. Like the original comic, it’s just over-the-top enough to make you laugh at the absurdity of it–that people actually believe this sort of thing.

And now at the official site you can watch it it online, or order it on DVD from this site, or watch the first few minutes on YouTube for free. If you are a gamer, you should watch this movie.

I really wish there was a “making-of” documentary about the people who financed created this movie. I’m sure that would be an exercise in confusion and hilarity…
